Taxis to Narita are very expensive. Journey time from Tokyo is around 90 minutes to two hours depending on traffic.

Two companies offer convenient services to both Tokyo Narita terminals.

The Japan Railways Narita Express has services from Yokohama, Shinjuku and Tokyo stations to Narita. Trains depart Tokyo station roughly on the hour and half hour and have a journey time of about 55 minutes.

Fare: ¥1,400.

Trains arrive at Airport Terminal 2 Station first, followed by Terminal 1 which is called Narita Airport Station.

The Airport Limousine Bus service from the Tokyo City Air Terminal in Hakozaki departs every 10-15 minutes and takes around 60-75 minutes. It costs ¥2,900.

Buses from the Yokohama City Air Terminal run about every half hour and take 90-120 minutes. Cost ¥3,500.

The Haneda Airport - Narita Airport bus has departures every 20-30 minutes, takes around 75 minutes and costs ¥3,000.
