London City's one, all-purpose terminal manages to be spacious, compact and efficient all at the same time. Short check-in times help to create a relaxed atmosphere. There are not many airport terminals that can offer you a pre or post flight meal and drink, with table service, and a pleasant view across dockland waters.
The emphasis on attracting business travelers has been re-inforced by a revamp of the airport's Business Centre which offers a full range of facilities and back-up services. There are no dedicated business facilities, however, in the airside Departure Lounge.
The terminal is not a shoppers paradise, nor is it intended to go down that particular commercial route, but the tax and duty free outlets in the Departure Lounge offer an eclectic choice of goods.
City to Cities, the airport's own glossy magazine, can be picked up free in the terminal. Like its surroundings it is a confident, well packaged product.
