Arrivals Area Landside
There is no dedicated Arrivals area at London City. The main concourse area serves both Arrivals and Departures.
Toilets: On the main concourse level close to the Arrivals point. Disabled and baby care facilities available.
Pay Phones: Phones on both levels - coins, phonecards and credit cards accepted. Fax facilities available in the Business Centre accept credit cards only.
Currency: There is a Travelex Bureau de Change on the main concourse level, open first flight to last.
Cash Dispensers: Two ATMs next to Travelex Bureau de Change. Most major cards accepted.
Information Desk: The Airport Information Desk is at the main entrance/exit door. A loop is available for people with hearing difficulties. There is a seperate unmanned Travel Information point nearby.
Smoking Area: There is a designated smoking area in the upper level restaurant area, otherwise few restrictions in the terminal.
Meeting Point: There is no dedicated meeters and greeters area, but in a small terminal it is hardly necessary.
Postal Services: Mail box and stamp machine at terminal entrance/exit. Stamps also on sale at Alpha Booksplus.
Left Luggage and Lost Property: Down small corridor near the Information Desk. Could do with better signs. Charges, 0-12 hours £1.50 per item, £2.00 after that.
Restaurants and Bars: Lower level - Snack and Coffee Bar. Upper level - Restaurant and Cafe Bar.
Shopping: There is a news/magazines/book shop on left of main concourse.
Car Rental: Avis and Europcar have desks in the main concourse area.
Hotel Reservations: Located on ground floor near Car Rental. The desk also arranges theatre tickets and sightseeing tours, travelcards and
mobile phone hire. Book a hotel online with Airwise Travel.
Parking: Through the main exit door and follow the covered walkway to the car park. Automatic Car Park Payment machines by the terminal exit. Travelex Bureau also accepts parking payments.
Taxi: The Computer Cab company has a desk in the main concourse area for reservations. Taxis are available from the rank on the forecourt.
Train: Shuttle buses run every five minutes to Canning Town rail station for connections to the Jubilee Underground Line and Docklands Light Railway. The Number 473 bus connects every ten minutes to Silvertown Rail Station for Metro Line to West London. Buses leave from terminal forecourt.
Bus services: Services to Canary Wharf and Liverpool Street rail station from the forecourt.
In the terminal there is a lift/elevator to upper level catering facilities and Business Centre. Reserved parking bays are provided for disabled users in the car park and airport shuttle buses have hydraulic ramps.
Business Facilities
The Meridian Business Centre, which has undergone a GBP£1 million facelift, is on the upper level. The state-of-the-art centre provides conference facilities for up to 80 people, meeting rooms and private work rooms. Steve's Shoe Shine Service is located on the lower floor. In addition to putting a polish on your footwear Steve offers a repairs service and sells shoe accessories.
