Departure Area Services

    London City has one terminal which handles all services.

Check-In
    All check-in desks, apart from VLM and LEA private charter, are situated on the ground floor of the terminal on the right. VLM and LEA are on the left of the main concourse next to Car Rental desks.

    Escalator, lift/elevator and stairs connect to the upper level and Departure Lounge entrance.


Ticket Sales
    The main sales desk is in the middle of the terminal. Hand baggage can also be checked here as well as at airline desks.

Airlines at London City.

Luggage Trolleys: Free, available in the car park, on the forecourt and inside the terminal.
Toilets: At the far end of main concourse well hidden behind the escalator and lifts. Disabled and baby care facilities provided.
Pay Phones: Phones on both levels - coins, phonecards and credit cards accepted. Fax facilities available in the Business Centre.
Currency: The Travelex Bureau de Change provides banking and currency change facilties and is located on the left of the concourse. Car park payments may also be made at the bureau. Tel: 020 7646 0880. Open first flight to last flight.
Cash Dispensers: Two ATMs next to Travelex Bureau de Change. Most major cards accepted.
Information Desk: The Airport Information Desk is on the left immediately beside the main entrance door. A loop is available for people with hearing difficulties. There is also an unmanned travel information point nearby.
Smoking Area: Designated smoking areas in the restaurant and Departure Lounge, otherwise few restrictions in the terminal.
Postal Services: Mail box and stamp machine at terminal entrance. Stamps also available at Alpha Bookstore.
Left Luggage and Lost Property: Down small corridor near the Information Desk. Could do with better signs. Charges, 0-12 hours £1.50 per item, £2.00 after that.
Restaurants and Bars: Lower level - Snack and Coffee Bar. Upper level - Restaurant and Cafe Bar.
Shopping: There is a news/magazine/book shop on left of main concourse.
Hotel Reservations: Located on ground floor near Car Rental. The desk also arranges theatre tickets and sightseeing tours, travelcards and mobile phone hire. Book a hotel online with Airwise Travel.
Reserved parking bays are provided for disabled users in the car park and airport shuttle buses have hydraulic ramps. Inside the terminal there is a lift to the Departure lounge, catering facilities and Business Centre. Facilities are also available for boarding aircraft - inform the appropriate airline in advance.


Business Facilities
    The Meridian Business Centre, which has undergone a GBP£1 million facelift, is on the upper level. The state-of-the-art centre provides conference facilities for up to 80 people, meeting rooms and private work rooms. Full secretarial support, fax, copying, internet access and catering are available. Telephone: 020 7646 0900.


Internet Access
    There is a cyber cafe located in Bewleys coffee bar on the lower floor. Coin and card payments.


Airline Lounges
    Air France Lounge - Meridian Business Centre, Upper Level.


Shoe Shine
    Steve's Shoe Shine Service is located on the lower floor. In addition to putting a polish on your footwear Steve offers a repairs service and sells shoe accessories.
