London City Airport is located in the Docklands area in the 'east end' of London.

From the City use the Limehouse Link road then the A1011. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes.

From the Canary Wharf business district (distance 5km/3 miles) the drive time is about 15 minutes.

The airport can be reached from the M25 orbital motorway:
From the south junction 3 then the A20 to the Blackwall Tunnel.
From the east junction 30 then the A13.

Journey time from the M25 is around 30 minutes depending on traffic.

Taxis are available outside the terminal building

Journey time to/from the West End is around 30-40 minutes.

The Docklands Light Railway has frequent services from Bank station, in the heart of London's financial district, and Canning Town to London City Airport. The DLR also serves Canary Wharf.

Trains run approximately every 10 minutes. Journey time between London City Airport and: Canning Town is 7 minutes; Canary Wharf 20 minutes; Bank 22 minutes.

The fare to/from: Bank is £4 one-way; Canning Town £1.60 one-way.

The 464 service runs between London City Airport, Canning Town, North Woolwich and East Beckton via Silvertown.
