Arrival Area Services - Airside
    After disembarking follow the Arrivals signs for Baggage Reclaim; Transfers if you are connecting to another flight.
Luggage Trolleys: In Baggage Reclaim - plentiful and free.
Toilets: Facilities in Baggage Reclaim with disabled and baby change facilities.
Pay Phones: In Baggage Reclaim.
Currency: There is a Travelex Bureaux de Change in the Baggage Reclaim area (open 05:30 to 22:00).

    The Airside refurbishments have led to the route from Arrival gate to Baggage Reclaim area resembling an assault course. This feeling doesn't end when you reach the baggage claim area either. Passengers with hand baggage have to weave through the maze of people, baggage trolleys and other obstacles to get to the customs area. Improvements are long overdue.

    The Landside Arrivals area refurbishment is well underway with some areas now complete.

Toilets: With baby care and disabled facilities at the Domestic Arrivals end of the building.
Pay Phones: Throughout the terminal.
Currency: The Travelex Bureau in the International Arrivals meeting area is open from 05.30 to 22.00.
ATMs: Near the International Arrivals meeting point.
Information Desk: General airport enquiries desk located in the middle of the floor towards the back wall.
Smoking Area: The area set aside for smokers is currently being refurbished.
Postal Services: Mail box and stamp machine beside the Information desk in the main Arrivals area. Nearest Post Office is in Terminal 2.
Left Luggage: Awkwardly located on a mid floor between Arrivals and Departures. Access by stairs, lift/elevator or up-escalator. Open 06:00 - 23:00, all items £4 per day (or part day).
Food and Drink: Light refreshments only on the Arrivals level.

    If you are meeting incoming passengers or have time to spare try the catering outlets on the mezzanine floor in the Departures area.

Shopping: There is only a small newspaper shop in the Arrivals area. For a better choice go upstairs to the Departures level.
Car Rental: Major companies have desks in the newly completed section of the Arrivals area. Make your rental car reservation online at Airwise Travel.
Hotel Reservations: There is a hotel desk in the Arrivals area. Book a hotel online with Airwise Travel.
Parking: Access to Arrivals car park 1 is directly across the Arrivals forecourt. For Departure car park 1A go upstairs to the Departures level and cross to the covered walkway. There are Car Park payment machines on the Arrivals level.
Taxi: Taxi rank on Arrivals forecourt as you leave the terminal.
Train: The London Underground and Heathrow Express stations are reached from the Arrivals floor. Follow the signs.
Bus services: Some bus services leave from the Arrivals forecourt, but most go from the Central Bus Station. Follow the signs. There is a bus pick-up Information desk on the Arrivals - includes coach & train information
