London Underground From Heathrow Airport


    The London Underground Piccadilly Line provides a regular service from all Heathrow Terminals into London.

    There are two Underground stations at Heathrow Airport. Terminals 1, 2 and 3 share a station, Terminal 4 has its own.

    From each Terminal's Arrivals area follow the signs for Underground. All trains from Heathrow go to London.

    The first train to central London leaves Terminal 4 at 04:58 and Terminals 1, 2 and 3 at 05:08. Calling at all stations it arrives Knightsbridge at 05:46, Piccadilly Circus at 05:50 and King's Cross at 05:58.

    The last train to London departs Terminal 4 at 23:34 (11.34 pm) and Terminals 1, 2 and 3 at 23:49 (11.49 pm). It arrives Knightsbridge at 00:27 (12.27 am), Piccadilly Circus at 00:36 and King's Cross at 00:44.

    Trains run every 3-7 minutes depending on time of day.

    Average journey time is 45-60 minutes depending on destination.

  • Fare to central London (Zone 1): One way £4.00 (child £2.00).

    Tickets can be purchased from the London Transport information desks in each terminal Arrivals area or at the Underground station.

    Ticket machines at the stations accept UK coins and give change. Some accept UK notes (bills).
