Location
Terminal 1 is in the main airport area alongside Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Madrid Terminals are color-coded on signs, Terminal 1 is orange.
The parking area P1 is on the ground level. All three terminals are linked by corridors and moving walkways.
Check-In Level
Departure and check-in is on the upper floor. Arrivals at ground level. Check-in counters are numbered from 100 to 345. The lower numbers are to the right as you enter the terminal and passport control is located in the center of the check-in area. Information displays on the forecourt show boarding areas for airlines.
Check-in and flight information is also displayed on overhead screens inside the terminal.
Airline ticket desks are opposite the check-in desks.

 | Luggage Trolleys: Available on the forecourt and in the terminal, free. |
 | Toilets: Located by each check-in area, with disabled facilities. Most have baby change facilities. |
 | Pay Phones: Coin & card phones throughout the terminal. Phone card dispensers next to some phones. |
 | Currency: Caja Madrid Bank, on floor above check-in. |
 | ATMs: Telebanco, Caja Madrid, Banco Popular cash machines available. |
 | Information Desk: Located near the security check entrance. |
 | Medical Services: First Aid station located in Arrivals, ground level corridor between Terminals 1 and 2. |
 | Postal Services: Mail box in Departures; nearest post office in Arrivals on the lower floor. |
 | Left Luggage: None in the terminal, lockers are located in a building outside the terminal on ground level. There is a wrapping machine in the check-in area. |
 | Shopping: Only a newsstand and tobacco kiosk. |

There are Internet kiosks throughout the terminal.

Near entrance to Terminal 1/2 connecting corridor.

Catholic chapel next to staff cafeteria. Mass - Sundays & religious holidays, 11am.
