Toilets: In the Arrivals area near the WH Smith outlet. Baby care facilities and toilets for the disabled are directly opposite.

Pay Phones: Located throughout the terminal, with a textphone at the Departures end of the main concourse. Coin, phonecard and credit cards accepted.

Currency: There is a Travelex Bureau de Change next to WH Smith, open 06:00-21:00 Mon-Sat and 09:30-21:00 Sun. There is a foreign coin exchange machine nearby which converts Guilders, French and Belgian Francs and German Marks into UK pounds.

There are no cash dispensers at the airport - Travelex will cash UK cheques presented with bank cards.

Cash Dispensers: None at the airport.

Information Desk: The Airport Information Desk is opposite WH Smith. A Tourist Information Desk run by the English Tourist Board is at the Departures end of the concourse. It can make hotel reservations.

The Airport Information Desk will arrange disabled access to the rail station.

Medical Room: There is a first aid / medical room in the Arrivals area near the disabled toilet. For attention go to the Information desk.

Meeting Point: There is no dedicated meeters and greeters area, but in a small terminal it is hardly necessary.

Postal Services: There is a mail box outside the terminal. Stamps are available at the WH Smith outlet.

Restaurants and Bars: In the Arrivals area.

Shopping: There is a news shop / bookstore in the Arrivals area.

Car Rental: Alomo, Avis and Hertz have desks in the middle of the concourse beside Travelex.

Hotel Reservations: The English Tourist Board Information Desk in the Departures area can make hotel reservations. For a list of hotels near the airport.

Parking: Access to the Short Term car park is across the forecourt, Long Term by courtesy bus.

Taxi: Taxi rank on forecourt.

Train: The airport station is a short walk from the Arrivals area. Signposted.

Bus services: Services to Southampton city are from the terminal forecourt.

A small special needs area for the hard of hearing, eyesight impaired and disabled is located under the stairs leading to the viewing gallery. There are two induction loops for people with hearing difficulties, one in the Arrivals area, the other opposite the check-in desks at the Departures end of the concourse.

A small unsupervised play area to the left of the main entrance to the terminal has limited seating for adults.
