Departure Area Services
Both Departure and Arrivals areas are on one floor in a light, bright hall. Departures to the left, Arrivals to the right.
Check-In
The check-in desks are directly in front of you as you enter the building through the main doors. Airline reservation and ticketing desks are on the right of the main terminal entrance.
 | Luggage Trolleys: Plentiful and free, they are available in the short stay car park and at the entrance to the terminal building. |
 | Toilets: At the Arrivals end of the terminal near WH Smith. Baby care facilities and toilets for the disabled are directly opposite. |
 | Pay Phones: Located throughout the terminal, with textphones at each end of the main concourse. Coin, phonecard and credit cards accepted. |
 | Currency: There is a Travelex Bureau de Change next to WH Smith, open 06:00-21:00 Mon-Sat and 09:30-21:00 Sun. There is a foreign coin exchange machine nearby which converts Guilders, French and Belgian Francs and German Marks into UK pounds. |
 | There are no ATMs at the airport - get your cash before you travel. |
 | Information Desk: The Airport Information Desk is opposite WH Smith. A Tourist Information Desk run by the English Tourist Board is at the Departures end of the concourse. The Tourist Desk can make hotel reservations. For a list of hotels near the airport. |
 | Medical Room: There is a first aid / medical room in the Arrivals area near the disabled toilet. For attention go to the Information desk. |
 | Postal Services: There is a mail box outside the terminal. Stamps are available at the WH Smith shop. |
 | Shopping: There is a news shop / bookstore towards the Arrivals end of the concourse. |
Executive Lounges
The British Airways Executive Lounge is beside the information desks.
Business Facilities
Conference rooms are available for hire on the upper floor of the terminal. A full range of audio visual aids is available. Telephone +44 (0)1703 627171.
Special Needs
A small special needs area for the hard of hearing, eyesight impaired and disabled is located under the stairs leading to the viewing gallery. There are two induction loops for people with hearing difficulties, one in the Departures area opposite the check-in desks, the other in the Arrivals area.
Children's Play Area
There is a small unsupervised play area to the left of the main entrance to the terminal. It has limited seating for adults.
