By Car

Southampton is southeast of the airport. Follow the signs for the M27 motorway. Journey time to the city is around 15-20 minutes.

It is just over 10 miles to Winchester, 20 to Portsmouth and 70 miles to London via the A3 motorway (signposted from the M27).

Train

The Airport Station is only 50 metres from the terminal making transfers quick and easy.
Journey time to Southampton is 7 minutes and costs around £2.
London Waterloo station is 60 minutes away by train with three trains an hour.
Other destinations from the airport station include Weymouth, Poole, Bournmouth, Fareham, Portsmouth, Reading, Oxford, Coventry and Birmingham.

Bus

There is a regular half hourly service into Southampton. Journey time is 15-20 minutes. Details from the Information desk.

The National Express Coach Terminal is on the Western Esplanade near the centre of Southampton.
