Airport Parking

There are several parking options at London Heathrow Airport - Short Stay, Long Stay, Business and Valet Parking.

Parking is expensive at Heathrow and the airport operator BAA increases prices regularly.

Short Stay Parking

Each terminal has its own short stay car park, they are a convenient option but expensive.

If you are parking for more than 5 hours use the Long Stay car parks, charges are less expensive there. For more than 6 hours Business Parking is also cheaper.

Terminal 1

There are separate multi-level Short Stay car parks for Departures and Arrivals at Terminal 1. The car parks are through the main airport access tunnel and on the left as you arrive in the airport complex.

Departures - Car Park 1A

The ramped access road takes you up to the Departures level. Access to the car park entrance is round to the left through the drop off area. The car park is linked to the terminal by a covered footbridge, but is some way from the building itself.

Arrivals - Car Park 1

The Arrivals car park is smaller than the Departures car park, but is closer to the terminal building. It has no direct link to the terminal but has relatively easy access at the Arrivals level.

Terminal 3

The separate Arrivals and Departures buildings at Terminal 3 share Short Stay Car Park 3 which is on the right as you approach the terminal. Covered walkways link the car park with both Departures and Arrivals buildings.

Terminal 4

Car Park 4 is directly in front of the terminal building and is perhaps the most convenient of all the Short Stay car parks. Signs to the car park are easy to follow.

Terminal 5

Terminal 5's Short Stay Car Park is in front of the terminal building. Follow the signs to the terminal then the Short Stay Car Park signs.

Business Parking

The Business car parks for Terminals 1 & 3 are on the Northern Perimeter Road. Follow the signs for Business Parking as you approach the airport.

For Terminal 1 Business Parking Plus offers the quickest direct transfer service to T1.

Business Parking for Terminals 1 & 3 provide free regular transfer buses to the terminals. Transfer time is approximately 10-15 minutes but can take longer at busy times.

Terminal 4 has its own Business car park on the Southern Perimeter Road. Follow the Business Parking signs as you approach Terminal 4.

Business Parking for Terminal 5 is on the Western Perimeter Road, follow signs to Business & Long Stay parking.

Long Stay Parking

The Long Stay car park for Terminals 1 & 3 is on the Eastern Perimeter road, follow signs for Long Stay Parking Express. A free bus service to the terminals can take up to 20 minutes at peak periods so allow plenty of time.

Terminal 4 has its own Long Stay car park on the Southern Perimeter Road. Follow signs for Long Stay Terminal 4.

Terminal 5's Long Stay car park is close to the business car parks on the Northern Perimeter Road. Follow signs for Business & Long Stay.

Valet Parking Parking

Valet parking is available at all Terminals.

Drive to the Terminal forecourt where a driver will collect your car and park it for you.

Disabled Parking

Parking for users with disabilities is available in all car parks. Designated spaces are located close to the terminal access routes in the Short Stay car parks. In the Long Stay and Business car parks they are near the shuttle bus stops.
