After security passengers depart from one of Atlanta's six concourses. The T-Gates are located next to the terminal and are walking distance. Concourses A, B, C, D and E are reached by the airport's own subway train. Escalators and elevators connect the terminal to the lower level Transportation Mall.
Each Concourse has its own shops, bars and restaurants.
Concourse E, the international concourse, is the last stop on the subway train. It is a 1.5 mile journey from the terminal so allow an extra 10 minutes on your journey time, more if the gate is some distance from the Transportation Mall. There are no moving walkways in Atlanta's Concourses.
