The flight arrivals area is on the third level of Concourse E. From the arrival gate follow the signs for Immigration.
Rest rooms: Available before and after the Immigration area.
Baggage Claim Level
After clearing Immigration follow signs for US Customs. This is down two levels, access by escalator and elevator.
Baggage carousels are identified by signs indicating flight number and departure point.
Customs: Follow the green lane through customs if you have nothing to declare, the red lane for declarable items.
Luggage Carts: Plentiful and free of charge.
Transfer Area
After customs comes the most unusual part of the Concourse E experience - the transfer area.
For passengers connecting with another flight go to the transfer desk/airline representative for your flight. Delta Air Lines has its own transfer desks.
Passengers finishing their journey in Atlanta are required to 're-check' their bags. This is an FAA security requirement. Bags can be reclaimed at the carousels in the main terminal.
Don't expect to be re-united with your bags quickly. It has been known to take up to 45 minutes for luggage to reach the main terminal from Concourse E.
Arrivals Lobby
After the security check Concourse E's arrivals facilities are available.
Rest rooms: In the Arrivals lobby / meeting area.
Pay Phones: Available in Arrivals lobby.
Currency: One Bureau de Change, Thomas Cook open 1 pm to 8:30 pm (13:00 - 20:30).
Information Desk: International Services Center open peak hours. Multi-lingual staff.
Meeting Point: Meeters and greeters area immediately after security check.
Although the airport shuttle train stops at all Concourses on its way to the terminal and takes 5-7 minutes, this is a much better bet than the 1.5 mile walk.
