BART - Bay Area Rapid Transit provides a regular train service to the airport from downtown San Francisco and other stations in the Bay Area. The airport BART station is located on the Departures level of the International Terminal.

The BART Blue line serving SFO extends from Pittsburg/Bay Point through East Bay and downtown San Francisco stations to the airport.

Trains to SFO from the East Bay and downtown San Francisco run every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes in the evenings and on weekends. Journey time from downtown San Francisco is around 25 minutes.

Bay Area Rapid Transit - BART is a 104-mile, automated rapid transit system which has 43 stations on five lines. BART trains run on most lines from 4 am to midnight Monday through Friday, 6 am to midnight Saturdays and 8 am to midnight on Sundays.
