There are two ways of getting to/from Milan Malpensa Airport by train -- the Malpensa Express and Trenitalia services.
The Malpensa Express links Milan's Cadorna Station and Milan Malpensa Terminal 1. Trains run every 30 minutes.
Trains also stop at Milan Bovisa, Saronno and Busto Arsizio stations.
Going to Malpensa the first train departs Milan Cadorna at 04.30, the last at 23.00.
Going to Milan the first train departs Malpensa Terminal 1 at 05.26, the last at 23.56.
The journey takes around 40 minutes.
Fare is €11 one-way. Same day return/round trip is €14.50.

There are also rail links to Malpensa from Milan Central and Milan Garibaldi Stations via Gallarate. A local shuttle bus connects Gallarate Rail Station and Malpensa with departures from 05.55 until 20.15.
The one way train fare between Milan and Gallarate is €3.60.
The shuttle bus fare between Gallarate and Malpensa is €1.50 to/from Terminal 1, €1.25 for Terminal 2.
