Getting to/from the Airport by Car
New York's Kennedy Airport is at the southern end of the I-678 - the Van Wyck Expressway.
From midtown Manhattan take the I-495, the Queens Midtown Tunnel to the Long Island Expressway. Take exit 22A-E onto the I-678, the Van Wyck Expressway.
Directions to terminals are signed from the approach road. Airlines based at each terminal are indicated as you approach the airport.
Journey time to/from midtown Manhattan is around an hour but can take considerably longer in heavy traffic.
